Location: the hotel was just next door to the Lopes Mendes Beach which is beautiful, hiking trails to Praia do Lopes Mendes and Vila do Abraão, and wild and gorgeous Brazilian nature. It also was on a hilltop overlooking a paradise-island bay.

Mind-blowingly friendly staff who went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay. Super convenient location for hiking, with jaw-dropping views from the property. The breakfast was delicious, especially the eggs, and the focus on eco-friendly practices was impressive. The hidden gem in Praia das Palmas was the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy the stunning beaches. Access to free wi-fi, beach, and hiking trails was a definite plus. No pets allowed and no smoking on site, which ensured a clean and pleasant environment.

My stay at Pousada Toca Do Mar was absolutely fabulous. The secluded bay location provided a calm and quiet atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The views were breathtaking, and having my own hammock was a dream come true. The staff, especially Bruna and Flavio, went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable, even taking me out on their boat. The immediate access to hiking trails to Praia do Lopes Mendes and Vila do Abraão was a major plus. The breakfast, though not extensive, offered great views and was satisfying enough. Despite a few drawbacks, Overall I highly recommend this hotel for a truly memorable getaway.

This place is simply incredible! The location is mind-blowing, with two stunning beaches just a stone's throw away. The hosts, Lucia, Bruna, and Flávio, are super friendly and always ready to help. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was worth every penny - the view from the window was jaw-dropping and the shower was incredible. The breakfast served on the open veranda overlooking the bay was a perfect start to the day. The rooms are basic but clean, and who needs more than that when you're surrounded by paradise? The access to restaurants, beaches, and hiking trails was a big plus. this place offers great value for money and is highly recommended for a peaceful and unforgettable tropical getaway.

As a nature-loving traveler, I had the most incredible stay at Pousada Toca Do Mar. The young family who runs the hotel is so friendly and welcoming. Their private boat-taxi pick-up from Conceição de Jacareí was a highlight! The basic yet lovely breakfast served on the open veranda overlooking the bay was a perfect way to start the day. The peaceful tropical island with its pristine beaches and surrounding nature was the ideal escape. The clean rooms with ceiling fans were comfortable, and the hiking trails through the rainforest offered unique wildlife sightings. Highly recommended!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

What a hidden gem! This little piece of heaven is perfect if you're looking to escape from the world and unwind. the staff here are incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with anything you need. the view from the hotel is simply breathtaking, and waking up to such beauty each morning is a real luxury. the location is great, just a short 5-minute walk to the beach where you can enjoy the sun, sand, and sea.
The hotel doesn't promote their boat tours around the island enough. If you're interested in exploring the surrounding areas, you might have to buy a tour from other agencies or take a boat taxi, which can be a bit of a hassle.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the helpful hosts who were always available to answer our questions and organize trips or transfers. the location of the pousada was simply unbelievable, situated in the jungle with breathtaking views of the beach. It was only a five-minute walk to the beach, and we also had easy access to restaurants, other beaches, and hiking trails. the view from the breakfast rooms was great, and despite the basic rooms, they served their purpose perfectly for a good night's sleep. we found the pousada to be a great value.
Felt like a true getaway, no complaints at all.
